Type System Builder generates a complete typography system in Figma — text styles, variables, and font pairings — in about 10 seconds.

How it works

1. Pick your font — choose from any font in Figma, select the weights you want
2. Enable font pairing (optional) — the plugin suggests complementary fonts based on typographic principles
3. Choose your scale — use a preset (Product UI, Editorial, Marketing) or customize the ratio, base size, and steps
4. Click Generate — the plugin creates your full type system:

• Named text styles (H1–H5, Body, Small, Caption)
• A variable collection with font sizes, line heights, weights, and letter spacing
• Optical letter spacing applied automatically (tighter on headlines, looser on small text)

That's it. Your type system is ready to use across your project.
